Coachella Restaurant

Love this little spot of a restaurant .. I had my lunch and tried Lapas (limpets) for the first time . The service was great, staff were so friendly and shared more of Madeiran food culture with me! Made my day because of them!

Beautiful restaurant and wonderful food, those complaining that the restaurant staff are ‘pushy’ have absolutely no idea what it’s like to run a restaurant, we had many questions about what food was local and authentic and our waitress answered and gave much information nicely and clearly. We would love to return here many many times

Marvellous Madereiran food. Excellent service. Local produce. Fish fillet superb, as was the cheese board. Friendly attentive service.

The shrimp avocado and garlic bread were wonderful, a delight in taste. The Caipirinha is also good and refreshing. Friendly staff. We sat outside, everything got better for us there. In the inner hall, the air leaves much to be desired, there is an extraneous smell. Maybe it's a seasonal issue.

Such a charming little restaurant tucked away in a corner with a beautiful decor both inside and outside. The ladies were the highlight, so sweet and accommodating ensuring to acknowledge and check in on you. I had the Galician octopus and it was much more to my palate than what I experienced in Galicia, but this is to each one’s own. Also tried the limpets which was a unique taste. Credit card accepted and ladies were all so darling I’d love to come back again to try the rest of the dishes.

I experienced a very nice, relaxed and amazing time in this restaurant. The waitress are very nice and welcoming.I could describe the food being the most delicious food I ever had in my life. I don’t remember exactly the name of the food but it was cod with prawn cocktail, sweet potatoe and vegetables.The second time I went there, I had pizza with prawn, it was delicious .The drink they had, with ice cream and wine… such a good experience. 100% worth eat in there

What I had: Duck & Rice.The atmosphere: Quite and nice. Perfect outdoor seating. It has a dress store inside, unusual but unique in its own way.The staff: Very young and inexperienced. The staff should be where the customers are, on this date, everyone was seated outside but yet no staff was outside. None the less this is not an issue. Experience comes with time.The food: (CAUTION): The food, does not reflect the menu. I was put off by the menu and I was on the verge of leaving prior to even sitting down. The menu needs to be changed to reflect in what is being served.The food was amazing. Very well presented. Tested good, the duck was seasoned well. The salad was amazing. It blew my expectations. The restaurant is cosy. It's calm and in a quiet place.I would recommend this restaurant.
